Psychosomatography
Light, Body, Mind – a single visual breath
Psychosomatography is a neologism born from the union of three Greek roots:
ψυχή (psychē) – mind, soul, vital breath
σῶμα (sōma) – body, physical presence
γραφή (graphía) – writing, trace, mark
Together, these words give life to a new concept: the visual writing of the union between mind and body.
The Project
Psychosomatography is a photographic journey made entirely with analog film, where each shot is an act of deep listening. It’s not just about portraying bodies, but about capturing their inner vibration, their silent memory, their awe. Each image is a ritual of light: the film becomes skin, the light becomes thought, and time becomes eternal.
Vision
In an era where images scroll fast and multiply endlessly, Psychosomatography embraces a different rhythm: one of presence, care, and conscious slowness. It’s an invitation to slow down, to breathe with your gaze, and to let the light settle on the body and mind like a gesture of profound listening. Here, the body is not an object, but a portal. The mind is not a concept, but a presence. Photography is not a document, but a sacred trace.
Who is this project for?
For those who seek wonder.
For those who feel that the invisible can be seen.
For those who believe that light illuminates not only what is outside, but also what is within.
